The Birth of Sorta Realism (PXL-2000 PixelVision)

The Birth of Sorta Realism (PXL-2000 PixelVision) Tube. Duration : 5.92 Mins.

1987 PixelVisionPalooza 01, The Birth of Sorta-Realism. At around 2 in the morning I decided to improvise a story where putting on a mask and baggy clothing could lead to a world with less physical and racial prejudice. This includes improvising what is most likely one of the worst poems ever. How can a kid afford a video camera in 1987? The Fisher-Price PXL2000! A battery operated camera that recorded postage stamp size, pixelated, combination of IR Filtered, CCD, ASIC video onto an Audio Cassette Tape. Couple this technology with the foundation of our Sorta-Realist Art Form and you get a primitive way to capture improved ideas, crappy looking music videos and fun. Ranging in content from the hilarious to the boring to the lousy and to the WTF? We always had a great time making it happen and if you don't like it, Tuff Poopy Beans!
